Announcement (7 July 2026)
Towards the end of 2025 and into the early months of 2026, the level of forward bookings for 2026 were at the lowest level I had ever experienced in all the years since Truffle started in 2008. Whilst very disappointing, and together with other personal factors, I have been considering the future of the business.
I have consequently decided to close the Truffle business and will not be taking any new bookings for holiday accommodation in Kalkan. Existing 2026 Truffle bookings will, of course, all be honoured.
As Truffle was marketing the Truffle Residences apartments (Cool Mint, Mellow Mocca, Bohemian Raspberry, all 2 bedroomed, and Chocolate Blues, 3 bedroomed) on an exclusive basis, I have taken time on behalf of the owners of those apartments to arrange alternative marketing agents to continue to market them.

About Truffle
Nigel and Mel established Truffle (a UK company) in 2008 to originally market the 5 Truffle Residences apartments for holiday rental, in central Kalkan. Offering excellent service has been a cornerstone of Truffle’s philosophy since the start.
Over the succeeding years, more villa and apartment properties have been added to the portfolio offering a variety of locations, styles and sizes.
This year is the 17th season Truffle has successfully traded in Kalkan.
