Mellow Mocca

A perfect apt for our family of two adults and two children aged 12 and 15. We loved how close the apt was to the town and how easy it was to get around. The facilities were great for a summer holiday - not high end but great quality and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was a decent quality which we appreciated. The apt is a little dated in terms of decor but so well equipped and easy to be in. We felt it offered good value and was ideal for our requirements. The gardener was especially friendly and helpful despite speaking almost no English! We would certainly consider using again if we came back to Kalkan. Nigel was very easy to deal with and extremely helpful. A great stay - thank you.

“A fantastic stay at Truffle Mellow Mocca Kalkan” The location of the Truffle apartments in Kalkan is brilliant. 5 minutes into the fantastic old town full of restaurants and bars, 10 minutes down to the harbour. The apartments are very looked after and have nice touches with the welcome pack, toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers. The swimming pool is brilliant for cooling off in the sun and heat of the day with really comfortable loungers.
Would highly recommend for those wanting to holiday in excellent accommodation and in a holiday resort that prides itself on a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Truffle residencies are the best for location and quality.

“Amazing apartment, great location” We stayed in Mellow Mocha for 2 weeks at end of Sept/start of Oct 2017. After spending many hours researching different apartments we decided Mellow Mocha was the one for us...and we weren't disappointed when we got there.
The apartment is a duplex, in a block of 5. Downstairs is an open plan living room and kitchen, with a breakfast bar in between. Also a downstairs toilet. There was a washing machine, however we didn't actually make use of it.
Upstairs is a large double room, with a four-poster bed and ensuite with shower & toilet. It also has a balcony, with a table & chairs which overlooks pool and a view of the sea. We enjoyed sitting here in the evening with a glass of wine watching the sun setting and bats flying around. There is a good sized twin bedroom at the back, also with an ensuite. All the bathrooms were clean and modern. Bathrobes and slippers were also provided for guests to use.
There is a good sized communal pool, and you can also use the pool in the hotel next door, which is huge. There are plenty of loungers and brollies, but to be honest we rarely saw the other guests, so pretty much had the pool to ourselves. There's a bbq area, which we didn't use but is available for guests. Towels for using round the pool (and others for using in the bathroom) come with the apartment and are regularly changed. There was air con in the bedrooms and downstairs in the open plan living area.
The owner was great at responding to any queries we had whilst booking. Had a minor issue with TV whilst there, but this was sorted in a couple of hours...great service.
Kalkan is built on a hill, so this apartment is well located, not too far out, but also not too close to any late night venues with loud music. There are lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, most serving traditional Turkish food. Our favourites were Baharat (in the centre of the old town), amazing food, great staff and the do lots of cooking at the table with flaming pots, amongst other exciting things. Our other favourite was Suleymans (just up from Migros supermarket). It doesn't look much, but lots of local Turkish people eat there, which is always a good sign. I had the chicken breast shish, it was amazing and only 15tl (not much more than £3). I think we could easily have stayed in Kalkan for 2 months and still not tried all the restaurants and bars.
Great apartment and location. We'll be back!

Exceptional Very nice apartments in an ideal location for strolling into the town

“20 seconds to the old town” located just above the old town the Property forms one of five apartments within a larger building. clean accommodation split over two levels with ground floor access to a terrace and pool. All amenities within a couple of minutes and despite its proximity to the town it is relatively quiet. Good location.

A beautiful apartment Located in a beautiful town, we couldn’t have asked for more ??? The location was fabulous, the quality of the apartment was excellent, all mod cons and beautifully decorated.
The tiles around the pool were really slippery both for the children and the grown ups!!

Exceptional Very close to town

Perfect villa in a fabulous location . Excellent location for the old town and harbour, well laid out and nicely decorated. Well equipped and very clean. Useful information and helpful host. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Very pleasant accommodation close to the action. Spacious and a cool retreat from the sun. Right next to the town so easy to walk to restaurants and harbour. Didn’t really see other people from the other apartments so had pool to ourselves most of the time.
Said there was a BBQ but wasn’t one by our apartment. Didn’t ask but sure our host would’ve arranged it if we wanted to BBQ. Gas was empty for the cooker but was swiftly sorted.
